  1. My brother has just completed his gcse's and also aspires to go into medicine. As science is already a core subject all you need to do is get good grades in all areas of science the options, apart from maths do not really matter. However what you decide to do at a level DOES matter and he has been advised to choose further maths, biology  as well as further sciences. Hope I helped and good luck!

  3. To become a medical student u usually need 5 GCSE's at grade A-C including maths, english and a science. With alot of medical work experiance is a good thing, im doing part time work in a care home so that i can go to uni to do pramedic science. But any type of careing and teamwork activities look good in CV's.
