Are Ghosts Real Or Am I JUst Paranoid?

i keep on seeing figures out the corner of my eye, hearing strange noises at nite and i always feel like im being watched even if im totally alone

I have been on ghosts hunts with real ghost hunters and seen things that you wouldn't believe. My mother's house was haunted, no doubt.

But I have thought of some possible explanations recently that are a little far-fetched. Not hardcore beliefs, mind you. Just trying to figure it all out.

What if we are just experiencing past and future time periods? The "ghosts" are just imprints of the past and future interfering with present time? Time doesn't really exist, it overlaps onto itself.

No, I don't think your paranoid. But I wouldn't worry about it either.

Sweetie just because you are 12 doesn't mean that you aren't seeing ghosts. It also doesn't mean that you are. You may just be reacting to all of the ghost stories that you have been reading. I suggest that you do something else for a week. Listen to music, read a nice book or watch TV for a while. Then if this doesn't subside then you may want to give it some more serious thought. There are reasons for seeing things in the corners of your eyes that has nothing to do with haunting. Perhaps it is time you told your parents that you think that you need to get them checked.I saw my first ghost when i was 12 so I know that ir can happen. i feel the SAME exact way. i am 14 and for the summer i have to stay at my grandmas house, and i've always felt weird, like someone in watching me, and i have seen a few things before. i also have seen shadows & figures, but NO ONE is there, and when im home alone.

my grandma & grandpa are christians and jesus freaks and they dont believe in ghosts or spirits AT ALL, but one time about a year ago we were all in the living room, when all of a sudden from the kitchen in the basement 4 big bowls we barely ever use flew off the shelf across the basement. how do you explain THAT? i've also felt taps on my shoulder when going up the stairs from the basement...but it only happens on the bottom 2 stairs and always on my left shoulder.

and i thought it was haunted,...THEN i found out a guy who used to live there commited suicide.

i think that your house could be haunted, i wouldnt take it TOO seriously unless it is a demon or is holding someone in your home under demonic possession. it could be an evil spirit, but if not anything really bad or harmful happens after a long period of time i would think its just a regular spirit of someone who wasnt ready to die yet.

i'm not an expert on these things, but im really interested in paranormal stuff,

you should re-search ghost/spirit stuff more

I deffinatley believe. I must be crazy too because I have the same thing. Why, my little girl used to tell me when she was little, "Daddy, theres people talking to me!" And I would say, "But I dont hear anything, Mag." She'd get so upset and say there were monsters telling her scary things and showing her their hurts.

Hearing strange noises and night really isn't a good argument to use when trying to ask or convince someone that you can see or are in the presence of ghosts. That's the sort of ghost story thing portrayed in horror movies and is far more based on human psychology than a ghost.

Now I for one believe in spirits. Can't really say I've seen one as such, but I've caught sight of a silhouette before, and have since felt several odd presences at random intervals.

Maybe I'm just psychotic.

But either way if you honestly think you're seeing spirits than you should go ahead and think that. Still, the fact you say you've read or heard stories of people who claim to have seen ghosts doesn't say much - stuff on the internet isn't always reliable - and the whole "noises at night" thing is so overused and untrue it's unreal.

No offence, but it sounds more like you're just wanting to see a ghost of some kind, and so your brain is taking normal and average things and deciphering them as something entirely different.

There's nothing to be paranoid about. There are ghosts but they are almost harmless. Don't pay attention to those calling you crazy or disturbed, they have issues themselves.

ghosts exist, as does what I call "astral wildlife" (some would call them "faerie beings" instead). if one is more sensitive than is normal one can easily catch glimpse of them.

ghosts more often than not aren't anything to worry about, as residual hauntings are nothing more than events from the past being replayed and most intelligent hauntings are limited in what they can do.

nonhuman entities, the astral wildlife I mentioned, can appear however it wants, as their form is of a malleable nature, especially early on in their existence (at least with the simpler types). they may take on human appearance for the sake of mischief. however, they're generally not hostile, they just have a different morality than we do. many don't give much thought on humans and other physical creatures but some see us as a source of entertainment, either to play pranks on or simply  observe out of curiosity.

Well honestly i think you have seen a movie that has made your brain hear and see stuff.i loveee scary movies i have never been scared of one until i saw the grudge and grudge 2. this is the first movies i have been scared of.  the way i tell myself that i am not seein' things is i say

" Your not REAL! I DON'T BELIVE IN YOU!"

and then i forget about it and never have it too quite when i am alone i always have music on so i can't hear anything hope this helps!

my friend had this sickness for a while were he claimmed he saw bloody mary this happened due to one day he was watchin a video on youtube about  something scary

People who have never seen a ghost would tell you they aren't real, and then there are others who can't deny that they've seen them. It's very hard to believe when we have never seen them, so instinctively, people call you crazy or paranoid if you say you can see them or think they're around. I think the best thing you could do at this point is maybe pay attention, because seeing things out of the corner of your eye doesn't mean anything to anyone. I've felt many times that I was being watched but I highly doubt I'm being visited by some ghost! I've also seen things out of the corner of my eye but that can also be anything. If you feel there really is a ghost, you can ask it to show him/herself or to give you a sign it's there. If no sign comes, it's just you being scared for nothing. If it would make you feel better, find a specialist in your area who can help you find out if there is anything in your house that may be "uninvited". The ghosts would not be unnoticed for long as they usually move things around, and open and close windows and doors. They won't just stand there doing nothing. If they do, they probably want your help. Find someone who specializes in paranormal activity and then you'll know for sure. They may cost a lot to get, though. Be prepared.
