  1. halliburton is a company involved in the oil and oil reclamation of war oil. I hate them Suncor dosen't use arib oil that I know of. I may be wrong but it is my opinion

  2. Of the two I prefer Haliburton. My knock on Suncor is the capex costs to grow production are so high right now.

  3. As other have told you, both are very good companies.

Halliburton is the better of the two, although not directly dependent on the price of oil, it is a very strong company and one a very few in its field.   An outstanding short, medium and long term investment with strong financials

Suncor is a good company, but not as strong as Halliburton, and at the price time not as an attractive buy

Try not to get all caught up in the oil hype, yes oils are strong but there are many other energy companies that are also attractive in this market

Remember, good money management dictates that you never invest 100% of your investing capital at any one time and never more than 10% of your investing capital into any one particular stock

  4. They are both good companies to invest in long term, but if the price of oil falls then they will come down also. On the other hand, if the price of oil keeps rising, then they could skyrocket. I would keep about 10% of your portfolio in oil-related stocks right now, but no more.
