Are Handstand unhealthy for you?

Yeah I mean I know all about handstands being a great workout and all but are they healthy for you? I mean like having blood rush to your head does exactly sound like a good thing. I do about 15+ handstand pushups each day and although its a good workout, I can't help but think it puts to much stress on the brain.

  1. Well, they are not very dangerous if you do them right and arent upside down for long periods of time.  


  2. I don't think they're particuarly bad for you as long as you don't stay upside down for very long periods of time. The most that would happen is that you will get a pretty bad head rush when you get up! Also, they can be bad for you if you don't do them correctly so make sure you have been taught a safe way of doing them by a professional in order to avoid injury.
