  1. We are all related to each other through the three sons of Noah, Ham Shem and Japheth. You will find the story in Genesis chapter 6.

  2. I think so. I believe some of the first people in North America were from Japanese descent.

  3. Remember the Pacific Ocean wasn't that big, at that time, now it's believed the people of the Japanese Northern Islands did come across the Pacific by boat using the shore and did in fact follow the shore. The Hawaiian Islands were in fact probably within sight at that time.

There are many probabilities and possibilities that are still unproven

There is an expedition underway right now off the British Columbia of Canada where the sea was much further out, the caves that are being explored are now 600 miles out to sea and over 400 feet underwater. Check it out at National Geographic

  4. Probably, no. The Native Americans probably could not have got across that ocean.

  5. A popular theory propagated in the first half of the twentieth century proposes that Hawaiians, Native Americans, and Asians all belong to an ethnic group referred to as the "Mongoloids".  This may or may not be a relevant grouping.

It is safe to say, however, that they are related to Native Americans.  They are related to all other people because they are human.  If you mean something else, you should clarify your question.

  6. Well, some of us do share certain features, but that doesn't make us related.

Although I do agree with the person who said that about Filipino people. I'm half Eastern Cherokee, and people always asked me if I was Filipina.

  7. No.  They are relatively distant from each other.  Here it is interesting to see that Filipino children are virtually indistinguishable from Alaska Natives.  The differences become more pronounced with age.

  8. Actually yes, there is some proof that the first explorers were Polynesians when they arrived on the Peruvian shores. There is a high probability of that.
