  1. Well Hifonics is really known for their amps, which are amazing. when it comes to their subs they not so great. the only good ones are their high end ones like the old goliaths and the olympus. their brutus' are also getting better.  The titans are definatley not worth more then $90. i would tell him to forget it. now if he is including a hifonics amp thats another story.

  2. tell the guy 250 and let him keep the cap since they are useless in car audio anyways.

their sub are comparable to their amps...mediocre at best. their amps are power hungry, very inefficient and produce dirty power.

the price also depends on the amp hes giving you. i don't think it thats great of a deal....are they installing it to? mabe 300, have him keep the cap and install the subs and amp.

always upgrade your electrical system in this order:

    1. the big 3

    2. a good battery (optima or kinetic)

    3. HO alt (if needed)

    4. add more batteries (if still needed)

if you notice serious car audio competitors will never use a cap. they use racks of batteries for a reason. besides, for what you spend on a cap, you can easily spend it on upgrading properly. a cap will supply only short bursts of power to your amps. batteries and a good alt. will provide a constant supply to your entire car. also, a cap is useless unless you upgrade your big 3, a good battery and alt. anyways….adding an electrical component to an already struggling electrical system will only make matters worse. if you want to do some research, you can do a search here: http://www.caraudio.com/forum.

  3. yeah if you found them for 90 lol i'd tell him to match it or shuve it hey you should check out overstock.com they have lots of audio for dirt cheap some of it is really good a bit of advise is to google whatever you find that you like and see what other people think of it and if you have a youtube acount look up the subs on there and ask real people what they think good luck
