Are Hillary supporters now PALIN for McCain? ?

McCain got the lovely, straight-shooting and articulate Sarah Palin as VP. She is better in experience and eloquence than the Arabic-named Democrat candidate. Hillary Clinton must be happy that another woman is trying to break the ceiling glass and a maverick at that.

Only if you agree that creationism should be taught in the public schools, birth control should be banned (not just abortion, but any family planning), Big Oil should be given all the tax breaks and drilling requests it wants, and AK-47s should be as legal as 12-guage shot guns. Sarah is not exactly your mainstream gal.

Palin is an ULTRA right-wing conservative.  And her 20 months as governer of alaska and mayorship of that tiny town pales in comparison to Obamas experience both as a community organizer, president of Harvard Law review, civil rights lawyer, eight years in Illinois senate and 4 years in US senate.  

I doubt any of the political positions prior to the governer were even full time politcal positions at all...

I am a Hillary supporter now voting McCain / Palin even though I disagree with them on most issues. But the Democratic Party needs a spanking for misbehaving and what better way than to refuse to reward their thuggish antics by handing them a loss during an unlosable election year.

Palin is delightful. She amps up the appealing parts of McCain - straightforward, no-nonsense, maverick, reformer, trustworthy, principled. McCain gets my vote for having the guts and vision to pick her for his running mate.

I am a registered Independent. I supported Hillary. I became a PUMA as it became apparent that the Democrat Party has become anything but democratic. The Republican Party was hijacked by the extreme right wing back in Reagan’s heyday. The Democrat Party is being hijacked by the extreme left wing right before our eyes. Greta, I am an Independant. A moderate Independent. John McCain and Sarah Palin are a breath of fresh air. I believe they will help reshape the Republican Party into a party that moderates like myself can relate to. i would hope if people were not for McCain before then they will be now. Obama is so taken with himself i can't believe it. that acceptance extravaganza was ridiculous. who is it you think this Obama is anyway. change ,change ,change now i,i,i. no answers no solutions. empty rhetoric is all he is . even his veep has said he is not ready to be president. i would hope that the people at that show were there for the music and are smart enough to know we are electing a president of the US. Palin is the only one of the four who has executive decision making experience and she has done a great job at it.

I disagree. Hillary supporters wanted someone who was highly qualified and Pro-Choice, someone who cared about Universal Health Care, a green world. Sarah wants creationism taught in the schools and is as far from a liberal thinker like Hillary is as you can get. Hillary earned her place in the national spotlight.
