How will india ever replace people like Sachin, Dravid, Ganguly and Laxman.

Sachin and Dravid average 55,

Ganguly averages 43 and Laxman averages 45.

moreover ganguky, sachin and laxman score very quickly aswell. And Dravid has the most century partnerships ever, showing he is the biggest team player ever.

And when sehwag retire aswell then india is really fucke* in test and in one dayers after sachin and sehwag retire.

Maybe when those indian greats and legends like anil kumble, sachin tendulkar and Rahul dravid retire, people will maybe be grateful of their contribution, and will think twice. Because i cant see people like yusuf pathan and robin utthapa being able to survive vicious attacks like brett lee, like sachin and dravid.

  1. fagged out players

    do not live in past

indians talk only on past and doubt ful glory

new crop at this age will be far better

  2. yes they will be in the same predicament the aussies are finding themselves at the moment

  3. they are becoming one of the best teams in cricket. How can they be fkd?

it's good those players are leaving, i would miss sachine but there are always better players to replace them..there are 10000 players looking for a chance to play!

  4. Indian cricket survived after retirement of the great players like Sunil Gavaskar~lOL

    BUT WHEN

SACHIN GANGULY lUXMAN DRAVID GONE ,.. INDIA WILL BE GONE FROM CRICKET MAP....

  5. I think the new generation of cricketers are best suited with the latest generation cricket. Gone are those days where 240 or 250 in 50 overs are good score and a half century in 70 balls are good, even in ODI's. Cricket become much more aggressive and entertaining, and best suited to these type of games are new generation of cricketers likes of Pathan's, Dhoni, Goti, Praveen kumar etc..

  6. Nalaka and vakayil have a point. In fact, that was the time we lost Sunil Gavaskar, Kapil Dev, Vengsarkar, Shastri, Amarnath and a lot more, and that was the time that the Indian batting lineup was fabled. We did well, considering that the transition period is always painful, with probably as good, if not better players coming up. So expect the same here.

About being in the same stage as Australia, maybe yes, as they are going throught the same pangs, only notice one thing, all their great players are not retiring at the same time, which is why they may play poorly at time, but they don't collapse. The same may happen to India, when the big 4 may not retire in exactly the same series, but in a spread out fashion. So hold on to your worst case scenario, but expect better than that.

  7. not at all mate, they have a huge young talented squad, and can cope against any  team

  8. I'm pretty sure they're not "FUCKE*".

You can't REPLACE a player, but there are always new players emerging on to the India squad. You have people like Rohit SHarma, Robin Uthappa, M.S Dhoni, and Gautam Ghambir. Also, did you see the U-19 tournament? India dominated everyone, showing that India DOES have up-and-coming talent. You don't necessarily have to worry about India's status in the future, cuz I believe they are just getting better and better.

P.S. Though cricket LEGENDS like Rahul, Sachin and Sehwag are leaving, you'll never know: maybe Rohit Sharma will become the next Sachin, or Gautam becomes the next Sehwag... you really can't tell at this point and time

  9. no no ,it will not happen as predicted.just like sachin rohit sharma will play but he should be given proper chances , further he can  bowl also, gautam gambhir is  also coming promisingly  and will not allow to rember  saurabh ganguly, piush chawla is really a good leg break blower and had a good bat also.this is young blood and let them established. but at the initial stage they will be overshadowed by sachin, rahul, or anil kumble.they are just in their childhood but once they will be senior they will shine out even better than sachin and others.

  10. They will have hard time relacing these guys If the replacement are Gambhir, Rohit Sharma and Uthappa then Indian middle order will broke down ofter in countries like Australia, England, New Zealand what India will miss the most is Rahul Dravid because he is the only batsman in Indian team who can play in swinging conditions neither Sachin, Ganguly, laxman or the names I mentioned above as relacements can play extreme swinging conditions

  11. I guess you are right. You look like an Indian hater to me

I hate to say it but you are right. Uthappa is a failure and over rated and Dhoni is even more over rated. But he still manges to put some runs on the board because that coward comes to bat when the ball is not swinging

Right now Indians have been playing on the Indian pitch (or similar pitch) it will be good to see how good our boys are on New Zealand's or England's pitch.

We may suffer without the Biggies

But I must say some Indians have no respect for Dravid - the guy who plays for his team and not his personal records. Whenever Indian team wins Dhoni takes all the credit But Dravid has helped India win so many matches and I have never seen  an Indian talking about that

  12. Indian cricket survived after retirement of the great players like Sunil Gavaskar, Gundappa Vishwanath, Dilip Vengsarkar, Azaruddin, KapilDev etc   Similarly by the time Sachin,Ganguly, Dravid etc.retires some youngsters will come upto take their places in Indian Team.
