  1. The Indian restaurants are a misnomer. There is nothing called Indian Cuisine. There is North Indian Cuisine, West Indian cuisine, South Indian cuisine etc. And the tastes are totally different.

  3. depends on the restaurant. Some of the smaller quick food ones have a stock of various cuisines of India...moghlai, chhole, dosas, etc... but very few get into the actual authentic dishes of any part. Those would be the niche ones only.
