  1. Some yes, some no.

Indian reservations are sovereign nations. They are subject to Federal law. They are subject to "some" State laws, but not all. They are not subject to no city or county ordinances, even if they fall within their boundaries.

  2. I to assume you mean the Native American. The only American, the rest of us are immigrants or, have been forcefully imported. Their land was stolen and they were forced to reservations. Much like the Jewish to Auschwitz and Buchenwald. Do you remember the Trail of Tears? They should not have to be on "reservations".

  3. Any one living in America, has to obey all city and/or state laws.  Indians will get charged with drunk driving, off the reservation, just as I would, I don't know if the City Officials have power to deal with their offense.  If they are on the reservation, I believe their Tribunal or Council, would deal with that behavior.  When it comes to State Court and others, special handling is done when it's come to filing legal papers against an Indian, serving papers on an Indian, etc.  They are considered to be in a special class, not better than anyone (i.e Blacks, White, etc.).  Year ago, our Forefathers setup treatises with their Chief and Nations for certain things to occur and be dealt with accordingly.  That's what we have today.  Don't get it in your head that Indian are treated special, just carefully according to previous agreements made, years ago.

  4. did u mean Indians on a reservation?  If thats it, they have their own set of laws on the reservation and even though they may get arrested off the reservation, a lot of the times the charges will be dealt with on the reservation
