Are Indians Asians or Caucasians?

Are Indians(from India) Asians or Caucasians? (or neither??)

I'm confused because some Indians look more like Caucasians(Middle Easterners) with lighter skin color while some Indian people look almost like black people(Africans).

Do Indian people consider themselves Asians, Caucasians or Black??

They all are wrong, Indians are Caucasians, if you check Wikianswers or any similar site, you would find that Indians are Caucasians, this is because, Aryans who are Caucasians settled in India a long time ago, and the Indians, and Iranians are their descendants.
