The quality of Iron Horse bikes is comparable to most other mass-produced bicycle brands.  Actually, Iron Horse sources most of their bikes from Asian factories which also supply bikes to larger brands such as Specialized, Trek, Giant, etc.

I have one and like it alot, but be sure that if you are getting it in a sporting goods store that it is assembled properly, I have seen bikes at these types of stores with the fork on backwards...
