Matt. 12:22-32 says, "Then there was brought to Him a demon-possessed man who was blind and dumb, and He healed him, so that the dumb man spoke and saw. 23And all the multitudes were amazed, and began to say, "This man cannot be the Son of David, can he?" 24But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, "This man casts out demons only by Beelzebub the ruler of the demons." 25And knowing their thoughts He said to them, "Any kingdom divided against itself is laid waste; and any city or house divided against itself shall not stand. 26"And if Satan casts out Satan, he is divided against himself; how then shall his kingdom stand? 27"And if I by Beelzebub cast out demons, by whom do your sons cast them out? Consequently they shall be your judges. 28"But if I cast out demons by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God has come upon you. 29"Or how can anyone enter the strong man’s house and carry off his property, unless he first binds the strong man? And then he will plunder his house. 30"He who is not with Me is against Me; and he who does not gather with Me scatters. 31"Therefore I say to you, any sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven men, but blasphemy against the Spirit shall not be forgiven. 32"And whoever shall speak a word against the Son of Man, it shall be forgiven him; but whoever shall speak against the Holy Spirit, it shall not be forgiven him, either in this age, or in the age to come," (All Scripture quotes are from the NASB).

Since the Watchtower has replaced the Holy Spirit as God's active force and inserted themselves in the baptism as God's Spirit-Directed Organization and removing the Holy Spirit altogether.

Is this a unforgivable sin?

  1. This blasphemy then has to do with accusing Jesus Christ (in person, on earth) of being demon-possessed. There are other ways to blaspheme the Holy Spirit (such as lying to Him, as in the case of Ananias and Sapphira in Acts 5:1-10), but the accusation against Jesus was the blasphemy that was unpardonable. This unpardonable sin against the Holy Spirit cannot be duplicated today because Jesus Christ is not on earth.

  2. I would think it might be a religion that goes by what the Vitican says or the World Counsel of Churches.  That would include all your Catholics and most of the Protestants.  The Vatican promotes false worship and the World Council of Churches support the wars and the militants in other countries. They are also, according to Reader's Digest, in the gun trafficking business. That would be my guess.

  3. No sin is unforgivable, trust me.

  4. To my knowledge they would have to attach the holy spirit to Satan to make it an unforgivable sin.  What you are saying is they are *rejecting* the Holy Spirit.  When they get baptized *no holy spirit*.  That's why all they worship is the Watchtower.  They got Watchtower spirit inside of them.

  5. No they are not. There are many Jehovah's Witnesses who have left and became born again christians.

  6. Short answer, No!

    Since  "Since the Watchtower has replaced the Holy Spirit as God's active force and inserted themselves in the baptism as God's Spirit-Directed Organization and removing the Holy Spirit altogether." is a false statement  it renders your question pointless.

  7. No.  Everything you say following "Since..." is your own opinion and bias.  Opinion and bias do not constitute fact or reality.

    The Watchtower is a magazine.  It does not and has not replaced the holy spirit in the lives of Jehovah's Witnesses.  The fact that this is God's spirit-directed organization does not remove the holy spirit.  It acknowledges the holy spirit as the motivating force and guide of God's people.

    Besides, in anticipation of baptism, prospective Witnesses are instructed and reminded of the vital role of the holy spirit in Christian life, and its operation on our behalf in God's service.

    And your long scripture quotation is irrelevant, it does not apply to Jehovah's Witnesses, nor to our Christian baptism.

    No, we are not guilty of the unforgivable sin.  But dumb and biased questions like yours might come close.

  8. Let's get one thing clear, there is NO sin that someone cannot ask for forgiveness and be given forgiveness by God.

  9. No not guilty of sin. And no, they don't go against Jehovah, Jesus, nor the Holy Spirit.

  10. You Said:

    "Since the Watchtower has replaced the Holy Spirit as God's active force and inserted themselves in the baptism as God's Spirit-Directed Organization and removing the Holy Spirit altogether."

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    The Watchtower Bible and Tract Society publishes bibles. They haven't replaced The Holy Spirit. They point to the Bible as the way to salvation. Of course you get out of it what you put into it.
    You have to read it.
    JW's do not speak against the Holy Spirit. or Jesus ...or Jehovah
  11. no.
    If the questioner would like a more detailed answer perhaps they can choose a answer that answerer's the question that is asked.
  12. The Holy Spirit stills exists.  The watchtower is just a name and a word meaning lookout.  If you are believing watchtower is evil because of the movie The Craft, I think you have been watching too much fantasy.  Do a search for watchtower, I don't see any reference to wicca.
  13. Formal Answer: No
    Real answer: You say "Since the Watchtower has replaced the Holy Spirit as God's active force and inserted themselves in the baptism as God's Spirit-Directed Organization and removing the Holy Spirit altogether.
    Is this a unforgivable sin?"
    Vot says: How many crows have you scared away with this your straw man?
  14. I don't know but I wish they would all seriously consider this.  They need our prayers.
  15. Since you asked.
    If we appreciate the merciful nature of God’s justice, we will not be quick to judge others in matters that really do not concern us or that are of lesser importance. In his Sermon on the Mount, Jesus warned: “Stop judging that you may not be judged.” (Matthew 7:1) According to Luke’s account, Jesus added: “Stop condemning, and you will by no means be condemned.” (Luke 6:37) Jesus showed his awareness that imperfect humans have a tendency to be judgmental. Any of his listeners who were in the habit of harshly judging others were to stop it.
    Like the rest of the world, wait and see.
