  2. You can buy this stuff in vending machines. Maybe not.

  3. No, just like kids from other countries they  don't read them in front of their parents.


  4. The Japanese (from Japan) typically show their young more "mature" things at a younger age, especially compared to America (if that is where you live).

    For instance, a movie that's PG-12 (or 13) in the US, it may be 3+ or 4+ in Japan.

    So "protected", maybe not. The shows they watch can have some sexual content in it regularly.

    But the real extreme, even-you-wanna-cover-your-eyes kinda sexual content is probably not regularly viewed by Japan's youngsters.
