Are Jews considered minority in America or part of the white majority?

they own/influence so much in the U.S i doubt they can be considered a minority.

Statistically they are a white minority. Depending on where you are in America they experience discrimination like other minorities.

Politically however, they do have a bit of sway.

Financially they are behind many important charitable organizations, and make important and valuable contributions to education, health care and relief organizations.

They like any group of people are a valuable part of society in America and globaby.

If more than half the residents of the United States are Jews,as opposed to being Jewish, and there is a difference, then Jews are a majority.  I say they are a minority as are Catholics, German-Americans, or any other such group I can think of.  Each of us is a member of a minority, or of a number of minorities.  I am a white, Christian, working-class male.  That makes me a member of that minority.

Minorities with common factors may be considered to comprise a majority.  All those of European heritage may be grouped together, although I doubt the the Irish and the Northern Irish will appreciate it.  Now we have a problem.  Ethnic Jews are Asian, not European and not African.

Those of Jewish heritage who are in positions of wealth and influence got there the way the Rockefellers, Lodges and Kennedys did, on the efforts of themselves and past generations.  In short, it was earned, and the first step in the earning process is education and training.  You can take it from there.

i think theyre human, just like the Danish German  that typed this very answer. Dont worry about the jews, theyre good people. Also if they are in this country legally, why should we care if some of them are extremely successful. Look at obama and hillary, theyre human, ones black and the other is a female, and theyve been campaigning for THE HIGHEST OFFICE. well, not  God or the Pope, but the highest office in the U.S.

I am into world war 2 history, have read a lot of the sad chapter of history called the holocaust, and still cannot understand why people hate jews so much, or want to classify them as "some other race" instead of just  calling them people, or neighbors, or even friends.

I apologise for the lengthy answer, but all this classifying people is too wierd.

white majority. the minority are the hispanics and blacks. because of border control though, we have started to become the minority. jews are just white people with cool hats

A minority in the majority, what I mean is no-one can tell a Jew by appearance, choices or clothes anymore, but once you discover someone has any Jewish connections it's easy to think they are just a little different somehow. I know I have a Jewish parent, but I live in Europe.
