Are Jews typically more friendly and demonstrative than WASPS?

I went to my girlfriend's parents' house and everyone was very friendly and demonstrative. I mean friendlier than what you would see at a WASP household. Is this usually the case? if so why?

You have been at the wrong type of household before.  Friendly people have no boundaries.

I think they are more fun loving and carefree than uptight wasps.
