  1. kegel's strengthen your pelvic floor muscles.  While i don't think they prevent or help anything while you are actually pregnant, doing them can make labor a bit easier, and you will have much less of a chance of bladder leakage after the baby is born.

    Keep doing those Kegels!!

  2. they also help you when you are pushing so you don't pee yourself. Good enough reason for me.

  3. I didnt find them helpful throughout my pregnancy or throughout my labor but I sure found them helpful when I started having s*x again and learned how to use them to increase the intensity of my o****m! LOL

  4. yes they help it cause you not have to have an Episiotomy and also keeps your bladder muscles strong

  5. YES! Kegels are great for you whether your pregnant or not. Most doctors or Pregnancy Books will reccommend doing them, During pregnanct and afterwards. Having toned PVC muscles will help with labor, but some women say it helps more than others...It all depends. They can't hurt!

  6. I think it is for labor and after labor. To help heal things up better.
