I just read a story on Farr jones and he is saying that he has meet alot of all black fans who are going for aussie to win and the abs to crash this year, surely this cant be right? For fans to turn on there country just because one coach got in ahead of the other, what your thoughts?

  1. No ,All Black fans are definitely not saying that ,but it makes a good story for the leeches in the press.

Don`t worry about what Nick Farr Jones says, the ones he says he met, were never AB fans anyway..

There  a few losers still whineing about Graham Henry, but they will eventually get over it, if they don`t ,nothings lost, the real AB fans will still enjoy what REAL Kiwis have for the last  hundred years.....watching and supporting the best Rugby Team in the World.

  2. This Farr Jones fiasco is a constant wind up perpetuated by the media to stoke the fire of conflict between pro Henry, pro Deans camps. Should this argument ever contradict our passion for our beloved team, our All Blacks? No!

I know that many feel very strongly about the reappointment of Henry and I, personally, believe that there will always be a valid argument for both sides. But when people let the media skew and polarise each side's argument to the point of proclaiming support for the old foe over our own national team, be it that they are coached by their hero, that is dead wrong. Support is about loyalty, through thick and thin. If this was a test of our loyalty to our national team the Mighty All Blacks, then it seems many out there have failed miserably.

  3. I maybe a bit out of loop as I've been living in the states for a while but I would never support the aussies against the All Blacks. The New Zealand code states we support NZ and whoever is playing australia, in all situations. My guess is a whole heap of one eyes from chch have gotten all upset about deans not being chosen and have decided to support australia. I reckon that therory will hold till about 10 seconds into the Haka when national pride and common sense will take over.

  4. I am quite annoyed that this has been said, now. But I am well aware that it has come out of the big mouth of an Aussie, so I guess Im not too surprised.

There has been speculation in NZ that some (idiot) people would choose to support another country because of one traitor coach, but that is speculation, rumours etc. To hear that this c**p could actually be true is more heartbreaking than being beaten in the World Cup.

These people all need to grow up a little and learn to support our team through thick and thin, including coaches making stupid decisions, or players making stupid choices.

Robbie Deans is an awesome coach, which is why it will be even more satisfying when we beat them. If your gonna go and support another country, make it Wales!

  5. Thats right With Richie McCaw out and Ali Williams a walking wounded and a lot of others either injured (Justin Leanard)or overseas the hopes are dismal We have lost too many hardened -internationals  It is a 15 man game  Might be different at Auckland if McCaw comes back  Now if we had Keiren Read in there!!?? I like him  See how he goes  in the Inter-provincecils

  6. Thats a bit sad after all the ABs did not pick the coach, i will support the ABs all the way. and i am a canterbury supporter

  7. LOL, Kiwi's have gone soft and i dont care what the rest of you fellaz think of it. These people are probably Crusaders fans. The ones who are still backing NZ through thick and thin are the "Real AB's Supporters" and Thanks to all of them because i am one of them. You can't win every game.

If Henry's AB's beat Dean's Wallabies im sure most will start backing NZ again. Trust me it, it goes both ways and even some of the Aussies over here dont think Dean's will do much against the AB's. We'll just have to wait until Sydney.

Go AB's and seriously...Get behind your country or p**s off!

  8. Anyone that supports the Wallabies simply because of the coach was never a true All Blacks supporter anyway.  I wouldn't like sore losers like them on my team or supporting my team, good riddance.

  9. Well I am a huge AB's supporter which means i support Graham Henry (whether i like it or not).

If you support the ABs you support the entire team (including coaching staff). I am so over hearing people be so angry and REFUSE to support the All Blacks simply because they do not agree with the coaching staff.

When/If the AB's win the Tri-Nations or the RWC you can almost guarantee that these fans will come up with another excuse "oh it was a fluke.."something like that.

    Support your country people!

    Go the ABS!

  10. i was glad that henry was reaoppinted as AB coach.  So, we didn't win the RWC, big deal.  Henry had only lost a handful of tests leading up to the 2007 RWC. Remember, Henry did well with Auckland and the Blues.

Like I said before, if there are AB fans supporting Australia because Deans is the coach, then they all can move over there.

Before Henry was reappointed, many people were supporting him.  it was the news, radio and the nz herald website.

  11. I read his little jib too.  I for one supported Henry's reappointment (and I'm not from Auckland lol).  I believe we cut our coaches too soon.  I'll have my black Jersey on through thick and thin, no matter whos coaching.  Yes losing Deans was a tragedy but it's time to back our boys no matter who has the reins.

Farr Jones can say all he likes.I don't mind Aussies either but they're reknown for stirring the pot before a big game.  Come on AB's with you all the way!

  12. Sadly, I'm one of those fans that Farr-Jones is talking about.  I was gutted when Henry was reappointed after our loss in the World Cup.  I was angry when he pulled the All Blacks out of half the season of the Super 14.  I am angry when we have a new team every week.  I don't know why he gets to have so many chances.  Mitchell loses the World Cup and he's gone straight away, and yet he made it further than Henry, who's best effort was our worst.  I really want the All Blacks to win in my heart, but I want Australia to win in my head, to teach those who selected Henry again to be taught a lesson.  How stupid could they have been to let Robbie Deans slip through their fingers.  It's really disappointing.  It's going to be an interesting game on Saturday night!!!

  13. I, for one, was absolutely gutted when Henry was reappointed. My main reason was that he did not even bother to apologize to the public for the manner in which we lost. The rotation policy that only served to cheapen the proud heritage of the All Black jersey was absolute trash. On the other hand, I regard Dean's move to the Aussies as that of a sulky little boy. I have lost respect for him. What would another couple of years waiting done? As to Kiwis wanting the Aussies to win over our boys - what a pack of mongrels - go over and live with Deans. I hope the All Blacks hammer them!

  14. New zealanders have long had the british mentality where unless your winning all the time, your done.

We are neither loyal to our country nor to our sports people, and especially, not too loyal to their coaches.

Not everything that happens on the field is the coaches fault.

Team playing means just that- TEAM   not individuals trying

to make a name for themselves or more money from their sponsors.

  15. i think they would like that simply to get grahem henry out if anything, very strange cuz ab's are passionate supporters

  16. Anyone who says they are going to support the Aussies are idiots in my opinion and not real all blacks/NZ supporters! Why the h**l would you not support the team because of the coach? bugger off and live in Australia since you love them so much i say! I was gutted about the loss in the World Cup but i would never in my wildest dreams consider supporting anyone else but the AB's!!!

  17. I will too wanted Deans for the ABs and believe he would have been the right coach to develop the AB into an even better winning Rugby unit. But it wasn't to be, Henry stayed and I support the ABs no matter who is in charge.

There is no way on this earth that I am supporting Aussie even if Deans is coaching them! To those people who will be wanting Aussie to win and ABs to crash out, the term fair weather supporters comes to mind. Build a bridge and get over it!  I stand with the ABs my team, my country, doesnt get much simpler than that.....

  18. Yes it is true. Henry is a coward and theres no way im supporting a team that represent a coward. Go aussie!

  19. Dave B??? Justin Leonard plays Golf mate, I think U meant Brendan Leonard......The hardened internationals will be missed....however this is the chance for the new breed to come through & show there stuff. Personally I think the AB's will win against the Aussies... they can play it either way...in the forwards...then out to the backs.....I think Mortlock os a great player but looked short of a gallop on Sat & was injured again...As has been mentioned support the AB's & all the history & traditions that goes along with that regardless of the coach.......The Cantabs are annoyed about Robbie, fair enough, it's happened, move on folks....Smithy & Hansen are Cantabs as well, unite against the olde enemy......AB's2Win

  20. They are a bunch of idiots. i would still support the all blacks even if george bush was the coach

Any NZer who supports the aussies because of robbie deans is pathetic and im glad they arnt all black fans

  21. This is about the Rugby Union - and the stupid decision to re-appoint Henry.  Go Australia - and show the union they should have appointed the best coach Deans!!!

  22. I am an Aussie and I read NFJ comments. Whilst I think that he earnest in his comments, I also think he was just stirring the pot a bit.

Robbie Deans said in the press yesterday that there is going to be a lot said on both sides of the ditch in the lead up to the game. This is just the opening shot across the bow.
