I would have to say no. I got a Canon SD1000 for my birthday. The guy at the store said that all Kodak model, aren't the best camera, they may look cool. But they break easy and the company doesn't support them well.

I'd say go with Canon there cool, reliable, and have good warranty. ( all cameras come with 1 year warranty)

No, they are not good cameras now ..... well, they used to be ...... but they haven't been made since 1988 and are far outdated now ...... = )
