  1. Nope.

They were a solid tag team of their time, and both played their rebellious characters as best as they could. Out of the two, Hawk was a great wrestler all-around, and Animal was the power wrestler to balance the two out.

  2. The LOD were very, very good. They were also well respected by their peers, which tells you something. Personally, I preferred the Hart Foundation, but for their time and place, the LOD were the best around. LOD 2000, however, was a BIG mistake, no matter how skimpy Sunny's outfit was at ringside. P.S. guys, the spiked chestgear and shoulderpads always worked for you, but the Goalie masks were a bit much.

  3. no they are one of the greatest tag teams in wrestling history so i dont think there overrated

  4. No they paved the way for tag team wrestling. They were dominant in the 80's and 90's. They're one of the greatest tag teams of all time.

  5. They are the be$T period.

  6. no, they were the best tag team in the history wrestling and were well popular in their time aswell.

If you want overrated then I tell you a tag team that I think is overrated and people are not going to like me for saying this but I think the hart foundation is very overrated but everybody has their opinions.

  7. no cena is overrated.

  8. The Road Warriors/L.O.D were the greatest Tag Team of All Time!!

Only Demolition comes close to being better.

  9. They Certainly Aren't Overrated ! They Are One Of The Most Noticable Tag Teams In Sports Entertainment, And One Of My Favorites.

  10. No, and here's why; you really don't have to be a perfect wrestler to be a part of a good tag team.  The Road Warriors/LOD were fairly average powerhouse guys by themselves, but the compilation of a great gimmick, an awesome look, a reputation, an awesome entrance song, and a great tag finisher really did make them one of the biggest tag spectacles of all time.  Were they stiff?  Yes, but that's not necessarily a bad thing.  Did they no-sell?  Constantly, but it was a part of their characters (I can't even tell you how many times I've seen Hawk get up immediately after a piledriver.  It was like his trademark no-sell).  Could they put on a great story in the ring?  Absolutely, and if you're able to do that, you really don't have to know more than the basics.  Look at Dusty Rhodes.  Half the world considers him one of the worst wrestlers of all time because he was NOTHING but an elbow, but just as many worship the guy, including Ric Flair, because this man could put on a 5 star match with ONLY an elbow.

Plain and simple, wrestling isn't about how many holds you know, it's about how well you can utilize the ones you have to make the best match possible.  I'm not going to sit here and lie and say that standards for good wrestling weren't different back then, but the fact that the LOD stood the test of time for over 20 years should tell you that they were one of, if not the, best tag team of all time, and the fact that so many promotions piled their tag straps on them should tell you that they were DEFINITELY over, and it wasn't because of promos, it was partially due to aura, but overall it was because they were entertaining to watch in the ring.
