I mean they beat the storms by 7 points!!

i thought it would have been a slaughter but leeds couldnt do anything.

me, myself am a storm supporter but i expected a huge loss considering all of the odds going against Storms. there are countless things that went against the storms (not in the game) the main one being the leeds had their full grand final squad and the storms were short 2 extrodinary excellent world class players inclduding Cameron Smith at hooker and Greg Inglis centre/fullback/5/8 (all at which he is world class at)

so how did the almight leeds achive such a small victory on their home turf?

  1. Why stretch yourself and risk players when you can win by a small margin and finish the game with players that haven't been overworked and are fresh and ready for the next challenge.

Technically it wasn't on their "home turf".  Rhinos play their home fixtures at Headingley, not Elland Road.

  2. A loss is a loss by any margin. I think we in the Super League in UK play twice as many games as your Aussie teams do in the league, plus we have the Challenge Cup, which if you do well in adds another 6 or so games on top of that. So really, are Storm that bad, even with a few players missing??? BTW, I am a St Helens fan, not a Rhino.

  3. have you ever been on miniclip.com. Theyve got this really cool game where you play paintbaLL

  4. Whinge whinge whinge. Why not play the next one in Oz, scared you will lose with no excuse !

  5. if i could pass you a tissue i would,to wipe that tear from your eye...but i"m on the other side of the world...will we get the same excuses when the mighty australia gets beat on their home turf,in the world cup?rhinos forever......

  6. A WIN IS A WIN. years down the line no one will care how Leeds won but simply that they were the World Club champions of 2008 !!! get over it !!!
