Are Lily's poisonous?

my grandson keeps picking mine and rubs them on his face and my 1 yr old grandaughter put the petles in her mouth

Almost all lilies are toxic to cats and dogs if ingested.

Many are, especially Belladonna/Deadly Nightshade/Naked Ladies, lillies. It is best not to let your g'daughter have access to them till she is old enough to understand that she musn't touch them

Day lilies are edible and widely used in oriental cooking. Asiatic lilies are not, but they are not poisonous.

anything thats not an herb, vegetable, fruit etc is toxic in some way. If she just put it in her mouth im sure she is fine.

rubbing them on your face wont do anything but bring smiles.
