  1. Sorry AC/DC chick, but Mediamarkt doesn't have prices on their website (kinda makes you wonder why huh, maybe they think we're all crazy) AC/DC rocks though!! (well, the OLD AC/DC did)

Sorry Bla Bla, but Kijkshop is even more overpriced and they sell mostly cheap/old **** anyway ...

If you want to buy electronics at the best price you want to check http://tweakers.net/pricewatch

THIS generation shuffle sells for 50 euros for the 1GB version and 70 euros for the 2GB version... That's about 40 and 55 UK pounds...

Oh, sorry for giving you both a TD... I'm in a bad mood cause my NEW 80GB Ipod is taking forever to synchronize over my OLD USB 1.0 connection :-(

    Next morning edit...

hmmm, the kijkshop's shuffles are also the 1GB and 2GB versions... They are both 5 Euro cheaper than the prices I gave... And their price for the 80GB Classic is also less than what I paid for mine, but that was about 4 months ago and in France though... This doesn't look at all like the Kijkshop I remember... Are you giving better electronics answers than me now Bla Bla?!?!?

  2. It depends on the memory, you can buy a cheap little mp3 player for 10 euros, but you can also buy good ones for 30 or 40. You can buy an iPod shuffle for 50 euros..

You could also just visit this site yourself:

    www.mediamarkt.nl

  3. The iPods I saw were €45 for the 1GB shuffle, €65 for the 2GB shuffle.  One thing I have found about Apple if there is very little variation in the pricing no matter where you look (though admittedly Mediamarkt in Rotterdam was the only place I actually looked at the cost of an iPod).  Depending on where you are it might be cheaper to get an iPod elsewhere.  I got my boyfriend's iPod here in the USA for $199.99 for the 8GB nano where it would have cost him €189 (roughly $293) and just brought it with me when I visited him.

  4. I remember checking this for another question and actually they are cheaper in the UK

Looking at the Kijkshop a Ipod shuffle (old generation) is €45 and new generation is €65.  You can see them here http://www.kijkshop.nl/index.asp?strpage...

So it would pay to shop around.  Often you can get better deals online for small electrical goods

EDIT - Vincent dearest - I do hope you get your IPOD problem sorted and come back a happy chappy again!

I humbly bow to your superiority on the 1GB/2GB thing - you are right - I checked it a while ago so wasn't so careful.  My apologies of course!

However price-wise I am bang on the nail for a store I'm afraid.  Cross check it with BCC http://www.bcc.nl/is-bin/INTERSHOP.enfin... (who have a match & better the price agreement for all goods sold in physical stores).  I know the price in price comparison sites for online-shops are cheaper (hence my shop-around online comment..... but never mind, we agree to disagree!

EDIT 2 - I just saw your additional comments :0)  Miss "Penny-pincher" here likes her shopping around to get the best deal!!!
