  1. It will be fine...you haven't been exposed to the math or reading on the SATs yet. Concentrate on geometry and retain that info b/c it will come back to haunt you if you forget it on the SATs. Worry about your GPA more. Yes, the SATs are extremely important but to schools like Yale GPA/transcript counts more.

Good luck and I hope this helps.

  2. Did you study? You need to work on it. Study hard, you will be fine by the time high school comes aruond.

  3. Well I think that the score is awfully low; but once you get into high school, you will learn the stuff that will prepare for you to get the score you need. If you want to get a better score, I recommend you to go practice on the subject test. If you planning to go to a university the score now is about 1900 so you should score above that. Sat scores is not about all make sure once you get into high school do alot of extracurricular and clubs that will give you a good background to the various universities you are planning to go.

  4. PSAT's are a joke.  mine said i'd get 1590 but i got 1800.  you want your SAT scores to average at least 500 in each cat. so 1500 is decent.

  5. You shouldn't worry about it too much. When I first took a practice SAT 9th grade, I got ~1750. By the end of junior year though, my score improved tremendously. Your scores should be fine, they will improve once you get used to the test. After all, you only took it in 8th grade and it's meant for high school students.
