No. Why would they be mad at an old, aging player that causes distractions and is only for rental the rest of the season? Even if they get him, he will only take them as far as they will go because their pitching sucks. Their team is built around youth (Ramirez, Uggla, Hermida...etc) and will stay that way.

No.  After this season, it'd be pretty much impossible to sign him again.  He's gonna be looking for huge money and with the Marlins being one of the lowest payrolls in baseball, it'd be a situation similar to the Brewers and Sabathia.  They'd have him for a few months, then goodbye to a team who can pay what they're worth.

I was angry but not anymore. I realize that Manny would have messed up the chemistry on the Marlins. The fish could contend without Manny.

I would be if the deal was Josh Willingham being traded. It wasn't, it was Jeremy Hermida... he scored 3 runs, had 3 hits, 2 RBI tonight... Ill take it.

I would rather have Hermida.

They should be. The Dodgers ended up getting him and the Marlins really needed to better their team in order to have a shot at the Mets and the Phillies.
