Are Mayweathers skills straight form the textbook or does he improvise and make up his own style?

yea and know. Mayweather style and skills was created by his father. The sholder roll is a technique that has been used in the past but few have master the craft as mayweather sr. and jr.did. Mayweather sr. is fast just like his son but did not have the punching power thats the reason why he lost to sugar ray lenord. Floyd sr match with lenord showed he had the better defense and skills but just didnt have the punching power to get the job done thats why he lost. mayweather jr. style is his dads the only deference is mayweather jr,  has more power to get the job done. everyone knows mayweather has bad hands and tends to just back up the entire fight and counter punch to a victory but with the proper hand theropy shown in the hatton fight what could be done. And his punching power came from his uncles style. so mayweather jr. was bread to imitate not just his father style but his uncle roger mayweather as well.
