I mean, let's face it, we've all found an old fry in our cars before. Some of us sit and question ourselves, "d**n, I haven't been to McDonald's in over a year!" Why does the fry look the same? I know if you found an In & Out fry, or an actual fried potato in your car after a year, it would look pretty gross? Anyone know?

  1. its not gonna be a fry if it isnt made out of potatoes it cant be made out of tofu or something stupid

  2. yes, but they make it unhealthy..

  3. Yes they are real potatoes but a small amount most of it is batter. I once examined a fry, took it apart and the fried it and the change was it fried of coarse but that was it no other change. I place the McD fry in with the Twinkies.

  4. They are real potatoes but processed differently than alot of other restaurants

  5. they are pobably clones

  6. Yes

of course it is a real potato.

It just has too much oil, grease, sugar, fat, and salt on it.

Not at heathy as homeade fries.

  7. yes, they are 100% real potatoes. An In-N-out fry would age worse, because of all the grease it retains. McD fries end up with a crisp outside that leads to a fry that just dries out under your seat.

  8. yes, they are real potatoes

  9. well.....they have a TOOOOOON of preservatives in their food...let alone their french fries. I would actually guess that they are made out of potatoes, but that they are so greaced up and oily that you cant really tell a huge amount of a difference.

  10. Yes, the fries are made from real potatoes.  They are a special potato (genetically modified potato) that was created for long storage life.  It's my understanding that those potatoes are not available to regular consumers.
