They get mad if you eat their food without paying, either with money or in services.  Don't mess with that clown. He might look like he's smiling, but he's got a cash register going off in his head at all times!

one of my best Friends got fired for Eaton the fresh fries with out paying and was charged with theft now is that crazy or what but he also ate the fries excessively to a point were he would have to cook a new Bach just for an order.

Mcdonalds workers get a 50% discount when working.  10% discount when not working.  employees don't get to eat for free because minimum wage went up.  those who eat without paying are usually terminated.  unless  the manager gave the person permission to have something to eat for free

Depends on franchise owner....some offer a discount 50% and up, some offer 1 free meal per shift....McDonalds frowns upon employees nibbling while they work...most do it and just get a verbal warning, but some owners take it further and fire the employees......depends where you work and for who...

At our store, depends on the amount of hours you worked that day. Less then four no you get a free sandwich, small fry and small drink, 5-9 i value meal ( with some substitutions like salads and parfaits if you prefer) 9+ you get 2 meals. if your crazy and have worked   12-20 hours a shift, you can ask the manager, very often they let you have what ever you want. You get free pop all day long. also a 50% ddiscount up to 30 dollars a day, even on days you don't work. and there is always "checking for quality" where you grab a few fries or a nugget and taste it, but this one you can get in trouble for if your caught.

When I worked there I got a 50% discount on one meal per day. That was 10 years ago when I was 16... lol

I have worked at 2 different McDonalds. At a 1 of them I got a 50% discount. At the other one I got my food for free. The manager gave me mine for free because I had worked there for so long and I was a good employee. Depending on who the manager was, depended on whether you would get into trouble for eating the food with out  paying. Some of them cared and some didn't. They usually let us eat any of the food tha they could not serve to customers because it was too old.  I got tired of eating the food after awhile.

After I work, I can eat only a menu that is free... But then I have to pay: I have a "special prize" (only a 10% discount)... But I think depends on franchise owner and special "feelings" with managers that used to "close eyes" ;-)..... But in our menu usually we can eat everything...
