I have never read a book or taken a class on this subject, but remembering history indians occupied Mexico such as the Aztecs, Myans, Incas, etc, then Spain invaded the region; Would that mean that mexicans are a mixture of the 2 or is it more complicated than that?

  1. yes and no!  Most of the whiter mexicans are what you described.  But, the majority of them are the indeginous people of the mexican lands. (including california and arizona and seattle)  mexicans are just like every other race on this planet.  They come in all colors, shapes and sizes.  They are a beautiful people.

  2. The answer is complicated. In order to get a better idea you would need to look at research that looks into the genetic make up of Mexicans. No doubt there are mixes between Spaniards & Spaniards, Spaniards & indigenous people, Spaniards & caucasian, etc. However, pure Indians do not associate themselves as Mexican.

  3. no, Mexicans are a mix of welfare queens and baby mamas

  4. As with any large population like the Mexicans the heritage issue is complex, but generally Mexicans are at least in part a mixture of Spaniards and the indigenous people of Mexico.

  5. I suppose there are various mixtures.  I, as a Caucasian, have found them all to be beautiful.

  6. some are and some are not. there is a significant portion of the population that is a mix of indiginous elements and spanish blood which gives us the term mestizos. there are a number of people that are still completely native especially in regions such as chiapas and puebla. there are still others that it is clear that they are more spanish than anything. so it really is a complicated mix of different genes in mexico.

  7. they are mostly so,but there are still some pure native groups in the southern part of mexico, just as their are some mainly white groups there as well. The mixed bloods are called metizos(spanish/indian mixture)they make up 60% of the mexican population in mexico
