Are Mix Map trackers safe?

I've been using an invisible mixmap.com tracker on MySpace for over a year now. I haven't had any problems, but I was reading on a forum that all those trackers are spyware that steal your password. Is this true and does it apply to Mix Map?

to all the trackers theyre c**p and they dont work

theyre illegal to have on myspace

if myspace finds out ull get deleted

and yes they steal ur password and spam people
