an intermediate player who tends to use wedges quite alot on courses. Looking to buy a gap wedge of 53'8, a sand wedge of 56'14 and/or a Lob wedge of 60'05/60'8?

1- Mizuno MP-T series, any good?

2- Would the above be a good combination? SW of 56'14 too much bounce?

3- Since I am not an advanced golfer, would it be a good idea to get a LW?

  1. I have the titelist vokey wedges:

    52 - 8 bounce

    56 - 14 bounce

    60 - 4 bounce.

sw is really good out of heavy lies, sandy bunkers, but not good for bare lies.

lw is really easy to hit out of most non heavy lies and you get **** loads of spin.

i'm off plus one, but they are great for any regular player, and that is a good combination. its good fun trying lots of different shots and seeing which works best with each club. good luck

  2. Stay away from Mizuno not a good brand at all. I would recommend Callaway

  3. Specialty clubs are a personal preference type item. I love the feel of all of the Mizuno Forged Wedges. But that's my preference. You'll have to try these for yourself on demo day at a course in your area. You may have to drive a few miles to find a club demo day but you'll find the wedge that best fit your game and personal preference. Forget the lob wedge per my answer in your lob wedge question you posted earlier.
