I've been drinking Monster a lot lately. I don't know why, I guess I like the taste, the sugar, and feeling perky for a little while.

But my mom told me that they cause cancer and are really bad for you. I don't know if I believe her though.

Are Monsters really bad for you?

I'm not a big soda drinker at all, in fact I usually only drink water. I only drink Monsters once in a while you know? What do you think?

  2. All energy drinks are bad for you.

  3. yes to much sugar and jittery and then you crash but there good i know its to give them up

  4. Oh yes there really bad! If you drink too much of it. It will turn you into a monster lol

  5. that what im hearing..

  6. If used as intended and in moderation they are not bad for you at all.

Too many people drink too many and have problems. People here of these and assume that makes them bad. WRONG!

Red Bull recommends only 1 to 2 a day. The 2nd largest selling energy drink, which is also the 1st and largest healthy energy drink also recommends having only 1 a day and no more than 2. Monster is bigger so it is already 2 servings. So you should have only 1 can a day.

The worst thing is too much caffeine. The maximum safe amount of caffeine we should consume in a day is 300mg. Energy drinks have 80mg per serving. So a Monster will have 160mg which is just over half of the maximum amount.

  8. lol. I have a friend that drinks TONS of it.

He started making a necklace of Monster tabs and he has over 450 of them...

    he seems perfectly fine.

  9. Monster does have a lot of sugar and caffine, but I've never heard that they can cause cancer.  They do act to raise your metabolism, and deydrate you a bit, so you'll want to make sure you're not drinking them if you're working outside or in heat, but overall, they're really not much worse than drinking 3-4 cups of coffee and eating a candy bar.  Khaos are the ones I like.
