  1. I used to own two Montessori schools. When the children began my schools at 3 yrs of age, they could read at the 2nd grade level, do math up to short division, knew how to be socially 'correct', sang Koldaly Music, and were happy to go on to kindergarten, totally prepared. 'Worth it' is relative. What are you expecting from the school, and what is too much to pay?  In my schools, I brought in electric pianos and taught them to play, as well. Sign language was taught, also.

  2. The Montessori method is ALWAYS the best way to educate our children. Traditional schools are HORRIBLE. They don't allow the children to learn together. Schools that use the Montessori method encourages children to learn together.

The teachers that use the Montessori method ask children how they can play together better. In traditional schools, the teacher would INTERFERE with the child's development. For example, when two children are fighting and the teacher would automatically interfere by telling them to stop fighting. The Montessori method encourages the teacher to ask how they could play better. How does this stifle creativity? It's teaching children to be more creative and finding ways to SOLVE problems. Traditional schools stifled creativity, NOT schools that use the Montessori method! Traditional schools feel that children need AUTHORITY, which is why they interfere! Parents who put their children in schools that use the Montessori method feel that children should learn together. And parents who put their children in traditional schools don't want their children to learn together. It's that simple. It doesn't depend on the child or parents. It depends on what the parents truly believe in. All children can benefit using the Montessori method. It's because of their SELFISH parents that they don't get this opportunity. I can understand that schools that use the Montessori method can be expensive. But just as long as the parents believe that children should learn together, then I'm happy. I don't like parents who feel that children should NOT learn together. It makes me ANGRY because these parents are the ones that make society BAD! Parents need to be advocates for their children. Children are too young to understand. Well most of them are. That's why parents are there to make sure their needs are met. It makes me upset when parents aren't doing anything to help their child.

The children who use the Montessori method said that they help each other. The goal of society is to learn to live together. The Montessori method at least lives up to that expectation unlike traditional schools. Don't listen to all those people who complain about the Montessori method! All those people are selfish people. They don't want children to learn together. That's why they are completely against it!

  3. when it comes to picking a school it really depends on what is best for your child and your family. I have heard the good and bad when it comes to Montessori schools. I would suggest visiting the school and watching the children that already attend, dont let them fool you into only getting a glimpse of a classroom and then from there decide if the school will fit your child's educational needs.

    Good Luck!
