Currently 39% have voted to remove the Muhammed cartoons from www.redvsbluereport.com, while 61% believe this slander to Islam should remain.

Background; Redvsbluereport.com has so far refused to listen to the kind and reasonable requests, from the Muslim Student Union For Peace, to remove the offensive cartoons of the Prophet Muhammed. Redvsbluereport.com did however agree to put it to a vote and will remove the cartoons at the end of the next full moon if it be the will of the people. I ask you to honor the prophet and vote to remove these cartoons. You can do this by voting on the political cartoon section of revsbluereport.com. We must have a 51% minimum majority to win. Thank you for helping us to put an end to this odious episode. I warn you. This could lead to very serious consequences.

  1. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!  Straighten your bib,it's crooked.

  2. The muslims just have to get over it. Nothing in America is sacred.

  3. I love the cartoons and so do a lot of us americans. I am voting to keep them. They are amusing about those primitive people.

  4. Why? I don't hear the Jesus Christ Student Union For Peace complaining about all the slander, jokes, cartoons and other unreasonable comments about Jesus Christ!

Why is Muhammad special? He is the Jesus Christ of Islam, right?

  5. No.

  6. Freedom of speech.  FU fascist!

  7. CJA makes a very valid point: Christians take it on the chin, yet you claim to be peaceable and also threaten "serious consequences"!  So much for your claim to being peaceable.

I am a Christian, and the name of my Lord and Saviour is used daily by many (possibly including you) as a curse, and my beliefs are subjuct to close scrutiny and occasional ridicule.  If I can bear it without threatening violence and claiming some sort of special protection because of your faith.

I assume you are in America.  Heard of a little thing called free speech?  Muhammad is considered to be the cause of a vast religion that has caused much pain throughout history, and many non-Muslims question your faith using both reason and ridicule, same as they do mine.  I walk through every day experienceing that about my faith, yet it does not disturb me.

Prove yourself to be truly peaceful: let it wash over you because it can only touch you if you let it.  In modern society, we have many views and opinions, many are divisive or controversial, but we must not allow threats to prevent free speech that merely is humourous to many.

  8. blah blah blah.....

  9. it's cartoons!

if your offended, don't look at them

  10. No!  I will tell you why.

In the United States, we have this thing called the First Amendment.  It gives us the right to follow our religions without fear of arrest.  It also gives us the right to voice our opinions no matter who is offended.  With the right to voice your opinion also comes the right to avoid opinions which you find offensive.

The simple fact is that you are under no obligation to view these cartoons.  You have no right to dictate what anyone puts on their websites.  Perhaps you would do better in a country that better fits your desire to force your religion and opinions on others?

  11. "could lead to very serious consequences" ...

Don't you EVER threaten anyone regarding Freedom of Speech or you WILL learn about serious consequences!

Cartoons depicting a man in a middle-eastern garment might represent Mohammed.  BUT it might also represent the clownish people whose idiotic ranting makes us all grieve for those who must listen to the idiocy.  Sometimes a culture has a symbolic person who represents them in cartoons.  For the USA, it is "Uncle Sam."  For the UK, it is "John Bull."  Each culture has its iconic representative.  For the Moslem culture, a traditionally clad man is that respresentative.  And despite the protestations, lots of men in that modern culture have the name Mohammed.  So just like Sam and John were so common that these names adorned our iconic figures, you can bet that Mohammed is the name of the iconic figure for Islam.  Cartoons that name Mohammed might represent the culture, not the prophet.  If you can't tell the difference, you have no cause to complain.

We of the USA don't declare a jihad or a fatwa when Moslems burn "Uncle Sam" in effigy.  We don't sit there and whine like a spoiled child who has just been the victim of taunting.  We consider the source of this whining and treat it as we treat ANYTHING unworthy of further attention.

Go deal with the hatred rampant within the Moslem activist community.  The cartoons will subside as soon as the targets fade into the woodwork, cockroaches that they are.

  12. I respect the fact they are offended. I don't understand why, but I respect it. I think it is because such slanderous material about their profit is not allowed in their country. One of the reasons they hate the US is because Americans are so vulgar. They are trying to control US media??? I think that is a little ridiculous. Besides, their cartoons are none too flattering about the US either.

  13. Take a joke. What: your God doesn't have a sense of humor or patience for the ingnorant?

Mine does. I guess that's why I can watch South Park and know it's NOT REAL!

In America, we make fun of everything. No exceptions. Get used to it.
