Are Mushrooms still Available in Amsterdam i heard that they were going to ban them?

They are still available despite confirmation of the cabinet to ban them end April.  At that time no date was mentioned, only that it would be before summer http://www.dutchnews.nl/news/archives/20...

2.5 months later and it has not really been in the news or further confirmed regarding the timing.  The only report http://www.nu.nl/news/1631280/11/rss/Gee... (in Dutch) is a vague report (summary in English) http://www.dutchnews.nl/news/archives/20... is that smartshops had called on the Amsterdam authorities to regulate sales before the cabinet banned them.  The major previously mentioned implementing a time lag between ordering and actual purchase but the Amsterdam city council have refused this now.

The health & justice ministers called for a total ban and received the support of the cabinet.  As laws are made at national level thus over-riding council decisions then it will take place (at least according to the Dutch media) with it just being a case of when

P.S. I am curious about the one response how just because someone "went there" that this is a more worthy source than the cabinet spokesman & Dutch media reports......
