Are NFL Pre-Season Games Not Live?

Detroit Lions.com says the game is at 7pm, but Fox47, my local station, said it'll be at 10pm after Dance Finale? (Thursday night)

Am kinda upset if its not going to be live...

  1. Its the Lions. No wonder they would be preempted by dancing.

  2. That stinks

  3. Most pre-season games that are broadcast are broadcast live. Sounds like you have an unusual situation there, where the broadcaster is taping and showing after the other program.

Sucks, I know. But they figure more people are interested in the dance show than pre-season games at this time of the year. And they could be right. It's a ratings decision.

  4. Have to agree I think it is just a special one time deal.  If it were regular season they couldn't get away with that.  The NFL would give another broadcaster the game if the "Dance" finale was so important to Fox47.  You should log a protest at least with the station if not the NFL too.
