Are NHS veneers guaranteed?

I had my front 5 teeth veneered at 15 due to illness and they lasted me 11 years. I had them replaced March 2006. One came off after 14 days, was put back on and olly lasted 2 days. My front tooth has also come off, in pieces! I made a verbal complaint to my Dentist who said, "Even if they come off the next day you still have to pay to have it put back on. The NHS don't guarantee their veneers."

In total it's costing me £230.40 to repair his faulty work.

Anybody had to deal with this before?

No they are not and in private its not guranteed either due to patient variables, it will cost you money if it comes off
