Are NYC LIRR monthly tickets one way or roundtrip ?

I purchased a monthly ticket from Bayside to Penn Station. Does that mean that I can also use this ticket to go from Penn Station back to Bayside after work ? Or will I have to purchase another monthly ticket from Penn Station to Bayside ? Thanks !

All you can eat.

I live in Bayside.  My wife buys monthly ticket.  You can use it anytime to go from Penn station to ANY zone 3 (bayside, etc.) and back.

they would buy a one ticket not a pass
