Are Navy officer candidates paid during OCS?

A person going through OCS, will he be paid while he is undergoing the worst 12 weeks of his life?

OCS candidates are paid at a pay grade of E-5.

All military personnel are paid while on government time. Everyone from the Basic trainee to the General of the Army.

its 13 weeks and yes they are paid at the paygrade of E5( or whatever their enlisted rank is if higher)  

and Please.  OCS was a CAKEWALK compared to Boot Camp.

He will get clothing, shelter, and meals while in training!

Unfortunately, you won't learn the real deal until you hit the fleet. Don't come out of OCS big headed or you will be explaining yourself in front of the C.O. on a daily basis for doing something stupid.
