I am looking to head to the UK on a working holiday in December this year (5 - 6 months from now). I was born in New Zealand and have lived there until 3 months ago where I moved to Perth, Australia. I am wondering whether it is possible to gain a UK visa through the Australian British High Commission or whether I will need to return to New Zealand first.

I am legally allowed to live in Australia being from New Zealand, however I am unsure whether I am considered a permanent resident.
