  1. nope it's just racism. more and more ignorant people are realizing how close obama is to becoming PRESIDENT especially after his big impressive speech on the last day of the dem convention...

only the media is targeting palin's daughter. people are realizing how HYPOCRITICAL the republican party of especially in THIS CAMPAIGN. the prospective mccain/palin administration isn't looking strong at all and never will.

if palin cannot take care of her own family issues how can she deal with the world issues?

if obama loses then hypocrisy and ignorance will win.

  2. I think the same open mindedness among Americans which says an Black candidate for President is ok also says it's ok if your daughter gets pregnant, especially if she does the right thing.    This isn't the Victorian 1950's.

  3. I don't agree with Obama on almost every issue, but when he said he would fire any of his staff that went after Sarah Palin's family, I tipped my hat to him, a very class act. I don't think anyone's poll numbers should raise or lower depending on if their daughter gets pregnant out of wedlock or not. This has nothing to do with what to do about the energy crisis, the sluggish economy or the war in Iraq and Afghanistan, or anything else that matters. Sarah Palin is pro life, and her daughter gets pregnant and is having the baby, so what? Does anyone seriously believe that has anything to do at all with what this election is all about?

  4. The true Obama was due to surface sooner or later, and people are fed up with this type of politics.

  5. Obama has asked his staff and the media to leave the whole "Palin's daughter" thing alone. The fact that you are bringing it up makes you look pathetic.

  6. "Fallen greatly"?  No.  That hasn't happened.

And no polls have been published that have been conducted since Palin's announcement about her daughter.

We only learned about it last night.  It's far too early to know whether it will make a difference.  Give it about 24 hours.

  7. I hope they keep trying to tear her apart. It's perfect. How many moms out there are going to totally feel her pain of having everyone turn on them when the going gets tough? The more they try and tear her down, the more powerful her image will get and the worse the Demoncrats will look.

  8. You may want to check that again...

Since the VP pick, his numbers are better, not worse. Obama now has a lead in polls that McCain was still winning after Obama's speech. Not good for the Republicans.

  9. what poll numbers.  we aren't all dumb silly. of course, 'poll' numbers point toward what conservatives want, if they are the only ones being polled.

    doesn't matter.

    My vote is for Obama.

    Period .............. End .............    Dot

  10. Really?  What polls are you watching?  All the ones that I have seen have him up.  He's up by 6 today!

Also, why would you blame Obama for 'attacking' Palin's daughter when he said 'Families are off limits'?

    Another Republican whine.

  11. Obvioulsy most Americans, including Obama and most of his supporters, realize that the daughter of a VP candidate is not going to be helping to make the decisions in Washington and therefore should not even be discussed.

Overall, her main points are being a reformer and a strong conservative.  Nobody can really bash her on her primary stances because she doesn't waiver from those views and values.

  12. YES

also their is nothing Palin could have done to compare to 20 YEARS AT A RACIST CHURCH.

  13. Well, that's because the GOP convention is going on. The Republicans are all fired up, so the polls will reflect it, just like it did last week for the Democrats. Don't go by the polls, they change with the wind. The only one that matters is in November.

  14. Huh? After Palin was chosen, his poll numbers are raising. Palin is a horrible choice for VP for many reason. Just to sum it up:

    1) She is a pro life fanatic.

    2) She has ties to Big Oil.

    3) Alaska lawmakers are investigating whether Palin abused her power in firing a public safety commissioner.

    4) She served in her statehouse 20 months. Obama served in his statehouse for eight years.

    5) She was mayor of Wasilla, Alaska, a town of 6,500 where the biggest issue is controlling growth and the biggest civic worry is whether there will be enough snow for the Iditarod dog-mushing race.

  15. Polls don't mean nothing. There are a lot of people who are head on Rep or Dem. Many of which are changing  to different parties..So polls could kiss my .........bd

  16. Nope.

Since his poll numbers rose again yesterday.

    Obama +6.0 in RCP average.

Reality is OK, why not join.

  17. palin's daughter is a fair question.the vice president need to focus on the job at hand.can palin focus when she has  an infant with downs syndrome, and a 17 yo who is pregnant?

  18. You are wrong actually, his polls numbers are getting better.  Even conservative Rasmussen Reports says so.  See for yourself.

But wait, polls don't matter right?
