Are Ouija Boards Bad?

Because Me and my friend are like... really bored (bad excuse) And we are planning on using one.

What should I be expecting?

How Should I use it?

I don't want some crazy *** ***** ghost try to scare the c**p out of me. The people I know don't want to talk about what has happened to them.

They aren't bad... but they are usually controlled by very bored ghosts... They'll do whatever they can to get attention. Don't trust anything they say. they tell you stuff JUSt to keep you talking to them. Do it with one other person or more... They aren't good or bad... just stupid.

A Ouija Board has the odd capability of allowing "anything"

to come through....and stay around if it wants to.

This can range from Earthbound Spirits to Astral Larvae.

You will have no real control over the entity.  And should it

be Mischievous (or even Angry)...you will require the services

of one skilled and experienced in either Ceremony,

Shamanism, Witchcraft, etc to get rid of it.

Better to experiment/play with Tarot or I Ching.

ouija boards are pretty controversial, and ofcourse there are no definite risks, but there are some things you should know. First of all, scientifically it is all bullshit but you have to decide what you believe. some people think that it is really dead spirits communicating, others believe that it is our own unconcious moving it, that doesn't mean that you are moving it on purpose, it's just that there are a lot of things that control our muscles and actions, and when we believe in something like that, chemicals are released in our brains that make us do strange things without realizing it. Either way, if you feel comfortable doing this, go ahead, but don't base your whole life and system of belief around a board game.

Yes , they are  bad

Most paranormal researchers advise against the casual use of the Ouija board, suggesting that it can be a doorway to unknown dimensions. The board itself is not dangerous, but the form of communication that you are attempting often is.

Most often the spirits whom are contacted through the Ouija are those whom reside on 'the lower astral plane.' These spirits are often very confused and may have died a violent or sudden death; murder, suicide, etc. Therefore, many violent, negative and potentially dangerous conditions are present to those using the board.

if you're determined to use the Ouija Board anyway , follow the safety rules :

    * Begin by announcing that the session will only allow an experience that is positive or toward a higher good and that negative energies are not welcome.

     *light a white candle , short prayer, protection spell...etc..

    * Don't ask for physical signs.

    * When you're done, close the board. This is an important step. When you're done with your session, slide the planchette to 'GOODBYE' and remove your hands.
