I'm going to try it, don't tell me not to. I think that ever since that string of horror movies started these "talking boards" have been way overhyped.

But Whattheheck I'll just ask anyways.

Have you had any spooky experiences with 'em?

OR

Is it just subconscious movement of your hand that makes you believe it's someone when it's really coming from your own mind?

Please no c**p answers well yeah i don't care c**p answers welcome as long as theres some real ones.

Thanks G's

  1. Ive played with one many many times.. it actually moves though i dont know how..

Just be careful not to invite anything in and always say good bye before taking your hands off

I dont know if it actually lets in spirits but better safe than sorry right?

  2. Go ahead and try the ouija board.  Nothing bad will happen.  Nothing happened when I played the ouija board years ago.  Nothing happened when my friends played the ouija board.  Actually, it was incredibly boring.

The ouija board is just a game that you can buy in most toy stores and department stores, an ordinary piece of wood or plastic or cardboard.  It is meant for two or more players so it will not work very well if you try to use it alone.  It has no supernatural powers.  The people using the ouija board make it work through ideomotor movement.  It plays on your mind and imagination and your susceptibilities and beliefs and fears.  It can be scary because the imagination is a powerful thing, and can make you believe just about anything.  Here are a couple of links that discuss ouija boards and how to use them.

  3. im sure they are real. i mean i do have 1 in my basement so yes they do exist.

i whittnessed my sister and her friend using it. they were using it by my front door (i have no idea why probably to get away from me) i mainly thought that everyone else i knew thought. that it moved from the energy of your fingertips and no demon or spirit was talking to you. my sister read up on some of those stories about the people being possesed and all that sh*t but she never really believed in it. when they were using it they had the board up off the ground. pretty much their knee's were holding it up. and every once in awhile one of the legs on the disk would fall off the board. my sisters friend asked it to lift it back up onto the board with their fingertips still ontop of it. i sh*t you not i am not making this up. the disk actually lifted the one leg up back on the board. after it happend a few times my sister said lets not ask it to do that anymore. i guess she was freaking out alittle or something. dinner was ready so my mom called us all to dinner and my sister asked if they could leave. the disk went straight to no. she asked it again and it went to no. my mom was getting pissed because 5 minutes passed and nobody was eating so she shouted get your @sses in here or you arent getting anything. the board started to spell out cuss words then went to no again. they asked it one more time and said we promis we will come back. it then spelt out 10 m i n then went to goodbye. my sister was freaked out the most by it and she didnt go back to the board that day. she even started to claim she was seeing things and her friend said that too. i didnt see anything but i did hear some things like random bumps on the wall when everyone was in the room on the other side of the house. other than that i didnt see anything and my sister stopped seeing things about 2 days later.

  4. Idk if they are really able to communicate with the dead probably if you really think that they will then there is some sort of ideometer effect with u subconsciously moving it

  5. It's the ideomotor effect.

Sorry to burst your bobble, but it is complete bullshit.

  6. i would not do it,its medeling with the dead and unknown.

  7. HOLY SHITT PLEASE DONT DO ITTT.

my whole family played it and brought a bigtime evil spirit into my aunts house. it would play tricks on her like it was setting her roof on fire.

    yooo, please dont do it.

but if you do.... tell me what happens. email me.... cblplover@yahoo.com

  8. my mom and aunt were using one and they contacted someone that was local, and the spirit actually told them where she was buried at and told them her name and then later they went to the grave yard and actually found where the grave was :/

and my old babysitter from a loooong time ago told me about how her and her friends were playing with one when they were little and contacted something and the next day her neighbor died...

    its really creepy

  9. I wish you luck with it.  I would want to do it with people I knew.  Knock three times if anybody "shows" up.

  10. Well, I can't write that I am aware of anyone who fools around with a

Ouija Board that doesn't need the assistance of a skilled and eperienced Ceremonial Magician, Shaman, or Witch at some time

to "clear" their residence...and in some cases the OB user as well.

IF you have already used an OB and are having manifestations:

Check your hard-copy Yellow Pages of any large metropolitan area

near you for "new age", "metaphysical", "magic(k)", "paranormal", etc.

The shops listed will either have bulletin boards with notices of local

Covens, Drumming Circles, and/or Orders OR the staff when queried

may be able to refer you to one of their frequent customers who can

    assist you.

In the future...stay away from the Ouija Board!

  11. I've researched these and the only ones that seem to work are self-made ones. Not only that but you need to have some sort of connection with the dead, as in dead relatives.

I've been told to never mess with these as (even if you don't believe it) you are inviting spirits into your house (good or bad).

Some people have sworn after they use the boards they become "possessed."

As for me, I think it's BS. Subconsciously a person can move the marker without even knowing it. It's an old wives' tale--just like the needle and thread over a pregnant woman's stomach.
