Do you know which school is more home-school "friendly"? Because my mom started home-schooling me this year (my freshman year). I really love both schools, and I want to be able to get into both, what can I do to make it "easier", since home-schooling might count against me? Please feel free to add absolutely anything!

Thanks!

  1. Penn state seems to be homeschool friendly. I don't know what you mean by VT. Virginia Tech or Vermont.

    Good Luck!

  2. Penn-State!

  3. Penn state should be easier...apply and include all grades and extra curriculam activities...Good luck!!

  4. From what I've heard, Penn State.

Homeschooling won't count against you with any system except UC; however, there will be records that each school will require, and these requirements vary by school.  Honestly, I'm already looking into requirements for my 6th grader, so that I'll know what he needs to have prepped and mastered.

I would really suggest you order catalogs and have your mom talk with an admissions rep from each school.  They should be pretty open with her about what they'll look for, and that way, you'll go through high school knowing exactly what you have to do.  When it comes to college admissions, it's best to be prepared early on.

    Good luck!
