Would they be a good buy for $55 with shipping?

Does Phoenix Gold make good subs? Would these be prety good sounding? WHat would they compare to in quality, as i prefer quality over RMS.

Does anyone have and info about the company in general.

Also, is this relyable, that form what i read, that lik everyone whos owned the older ones have loved them,, even over like fosgates?

THANKS, and plz dont say get fosgate,....jl ect...i only have $100-$150 MOST to spend on speaker alons.

ALSO, if i got those subs, woudl would eb a good cheap amp?

THANKS

  1. I've heard that they are not, but one thing that you have to realize is if you get low quality amps subwoofers or any car audio to enhance the sound in your car you risk replacing those items sooner than you would with higher quality items or items that are CEA-Compliant. That means that the amp was tested and has the REAL WATTAGE that it says. Now the Phoenix Gold amp is not CEA-Compliant so it would be hard to tell what the RMS is on the amp is. It might say 500 watts or 1000 watts but like I said its hard to tell. The subs I've never heard. Personally I have entry level subs and a amp but they are CEA-Compliant and thats what counts. Good luck
