Are Planes Fun To Ride In?

Im going on a plane in September. I'm gonna catch 6 planes. most of them short. But, the main ones I'm catching are 6-8 hours. Im going on a 3 month holiday to, Kuala Lampur, Dumaguete, Manila, Lahore, Islamabad, Karachi, Sindh & Perth The last time I went on a plane and holiday, was when I was 3. So I can hardly remember anything. So this coming holiday is a big thing for me even though it means missing my Year 6 farewell/formal and Yr 6 Production. I was just wondering how I should pass the time on the plane and are they fun? I've heard your ears pop. Does it pop the whole time your on the plane? And, what is the best part of catching a plane? Some people say that the airport is fun. Is that true? Cuz the airport looks a bit boring. Please help me!

Depends on what you think of as fun.  The take off and landing I always get excited about every time, but it could get a little boring in between if you're on a long flight.

I even like the airports, 'cause you get to see all these people from all over the country (or world) and there's lots of cool stores and big windows so you can see outside where all the planes are pulling in and out.

And I sound like a little kid again...

The best part of riding in a plane is the take off, other than that, it is a bit boring.

As for your ears popping, yes, they do, but chewing gum will help with that.

This week i have a 4 hour flight to Washinton D.C. from Houston, then a 2 hour flight to Montreal, then a 13 hour flight to Paris. Best thing to do to pass the time is sleep, but if you can't do that, bring a book. I usually just talk to the people around me during my shorter flights.

they are not fun, the only fun is when you arrive at your final destination. we have to drive far to all airports, wait in check- in queues for long times, wait in queues at immigration/passport control, wait in queues while you are scanned, wait in queues at boading areas, then sit in a very cramped seat for many hours on your flight, unless your a millionare and fly first class, we try to eat the foods off a tray, with your neibours elbows in your way. as the plane bounces around some or all of your food or drink ends up on your lap, them you wait in queue for the toilets. wow, when you finally get to relax ready for a sleep, some noisey children scream or play up because their ears popped. then on arrival you need to queue to get off the plane when your tired, queue up at passport control, queue up for your luggage, then queue up at customs, then when you finally get outside, queue for a taxi, wow, its exciting to travel by air

YEA!!!!! It's so wexciting im going on a 12 hour flight nxt week ( i go to turkey every year) usually i get excited 4 months b4 lol but than it gets a bit boring but you can always bring stuff to entertain u. Eg Ipod good book sudoku notebook to draw. It sounds like ur excited for it! have fun :) and if u get bored sleep lol :) also bring a snack cus the food stinks. As for ear popping its not whole flight just ocasionally it happens. But ppl are different just bring a pack of gum to help. Good luck have fun :) :) :)
