I got a ticket going 63 in a 55 zone, I asked to see the rader he showed it to me , the right hand side said 51 the left said 63 ,,

I know for a fact I was NOT going that fast ,, it was bad weather and I had a rental car brand new, I was not speeding I am very honest, any help from any one here? It was mounted above the dash I was going into the sun , no cars close by, he came around a turn , at me , Now does he reset it every time ? or can he keep it after he pulled over another car ?

Can I ask for his ticket log for that day ? I plead NOT GUILTY , I was not going 63 maybe around 55 but not a mile faster,, please help me I have 30 days to fight this one . Oh by the way it was 1 day after Xmas, at 1;30 pm, Just about 1/4 mile away was his buddy had pulled over a truck , I will give more details .If asked, But hey This one,

I AM INNOCENT ,,

Are the radars reliable and can I fight this one ? Please help me, No web site's that cost $ Thank you very much, ten points

  1. demand to see the calibration records for radar gun, go to court and argue the gun was faulty. it will get you nowhere but better to go down fighting.

  2. sure you can fight it but you most likely will pay anyway. the only hope you have is if the radar calibration was out of date. the cop has radar for proof you have your word who do you think the judge will believe

  3. Unfortunately you don't have a choice in this because they have the authority to clock you with their equipment and it isn't really negotiable.

  4. you have no chance to argue.  my son was "paced" coming up to and stopping at a stop sign.  he was "paced" by the officer as speeding.  he got a ticket and had to go to court.  he lost and had to do the driving class and 90 days probation.  it was a first for us.  so  radars are gold  to the court.  maybe contact a lawyer...it's just good practice.  but you will still pay one way or another.  sorry.
