Are Prince,Micheal Jackson,George Clinton,& Gap band popular in Mexico??

I am just wondering cause they are some my favorite musicians.Is Parliment big in Mexico??How is Jackson seen???What about Prince?In my opinion,they are a million times better then that annoying group RBD.Serious Question.

Michael Jackson and George Michael are big. Mexicans love g*y performers. While most everyone is aware that MJ is a pedophile he/she/it still gets plenty of radio airtime. Queen is incredibly popular here as are the BeeGees. Prince is sort of popular, but not like MJ and GM or Queen probably because his music is so creative. George Clinton, Bootsy and co. are too funky for Mexicans. I am sorry I do not know the Gap band. Maybe they are after my time. Earth Wind ands Fire 's really commercial disco stuff at the end of their carreer is popular, but not the hard funky stuff from the early to mid 70s.

I think only 12 year old girls or people with that mentality follow RBD.

Well, I'm Mexican and obviously Micheal Jackson and Prince are known; however, they are rarely heard by anyone I know. Most of their fans are 30 years old or older.

Personally I hate RBD. Thanks God it has lost almost all its popularity in Mexico specially after one of its integrants was declaered homosexual because mexico is 90% Catholic and most of us reject that kind of sexual desorders. It only had a few moments of populaty and it was thanks to the lousy RBD TV show.

The most popular Artists in Mexico are the Mexican and Latin ones, such as Shakira, El Canto del Loco, Pereza, Ricardo Arjona, Panda, La Oreja de Van Gogh, Amaral, Sabina, Intocables, Los Tigres del Norte, etc. Of course it varies depending the social class and the region you live in.

Mexicans are extremely g*y or at the lease bi-sexual in nature, therefore they tend to follow MJ and others of that gander. Also some of the biggest TV stars are flamers.
