Are Radio Disney Contests A Scam?

Pop-Tart (great name) is right. Not just a LOT of people listening and trying to win, but potentially millions. Hundreds of thousands at the least. We've also found in phone-in type contests, that where you are, what your telephone service is and a host of other elements affect your chances of winning.

But a scam? Never. Disney's too big and too smart. It's like the lottery. Have you ever won that? Someone does - eventually, just not you (nor me, sadly).

I think they use them as a way to gain viewers, not necissarily a scam. Because when they have contests they give you a prize, it's not like they don't give you the prize. The contests are just hard to win because they have so many people trying to win them.
