I saw at the store they had the chile' and lime flavor noodles. Has anyone thoroughly researched the ingredients. The website was not giving me much info.

  1. No, most arn't.

I just looked at Maruchan Ramen Oriental Noodle, oriental flavor, and it has beef and Lactose.

there are specifically vegan ramens though in the vegan sections.

  2. I'm pretty sure the Oriental ones are vegetarian. I'll look around for you now.... I don't know if they are vegan. h/o

    EDIT: Here you go:

Do you have any vegetarian products?

Our Top Ramen Oriental flavor contains no animal products.

So it sounds like it's vegan:) Be sure to get that exact kind, I think the Maruchan Ramen oriental flavor has beef extract.

BTW, it's probably produced in a factory with eggs, etc, (see label for warning), so if you're that picky, then beware:)

  3. The noodles are usually vegan, but you need to watch out for the seasoning.  Alot of them have chicken or beef fat added for flavor!

  4. Maruchan Oriental has animal products, however Top Ramen oriental does not.
